Black Designers Ignite: speaker

This past August I participated in the inaugural Black Designers Ignite virtual event. The event exists to “ … celebrate black excellence in design. Our purpose is to create space for Black designers with unique virtual events where they can highlight their work and tell their stories.” Below you can find a recording my presentation entitled “You might as well try.” I talk about my journey into UX design as well as other more personal battles I’ve overcome.
